The Most Important Thing to Bill Robertson

I was raised in a Christian home. My parents took me to church every Sunday. I was in bible study classes every time the doors opened.
At the age of 9 I realized that going to church was not enough by itself. I came to understand that I was a sinner and that my sin offended a holy God. I was made to understand that by acknowledging my sin and asking Christ to forgive me, I could become a child of God. On a Monday night of 9 years of age I confessed my sinfulness to God and asked Jesus to forgive me and come into my Heart.
I could never have believed what God would do with me after receiving Him. I began to feel that God wanted me to preach His word and now for 36 years, I’ve been a pastor. God has blessed me with a wonderful wife son and daughter. Our daughter was killed in an auto accident at 16 years of age. God’s word, His Spirit and grace have kept me going. I know that one day I will see her again.
