The Most Important Thing to Doyle Pryor

There was a time in my life I realized something was missing. Many people around me seemed to have something that I didn't. They seemed happy, I wasn't. They seemed to understand life and what it was all about. I on the other hand was extremely confused. I really wanted what they had. So I asked some of them. What was it about their life that seemed so together while mine was less than desirable.

Then they shared the most important thing that ever happened to them. They just went on and on about this wonderful relationship and how it gave their life purpose and meaning. That is when I also was introduced to Jesus. It was so simple. I just admitted what everybody already knew, that I was a screw up in life who had messed up royally (in the Bible I discovered that is called sin) and invited Jesus to take control of me.

Since making that most important decision, my life now has meaning and purpose. I am no longer confused about my reason for existing on this planet. Jesus Christ really does love me like I have never been loved before. Sure I still mess up from time to time, but Jesus gives me everything I need to rebound and get on with living. That is why accepting Jesus as my Savior and Master is the most important thing that has ever happened to me.
