The Most Important Thing to Jamie Renfro

While I grew up in a church going home and a God loving environment, I never knew what it meant to truly have a relationship with God until I was in eighth grade. Before then, I was very focused on all of the horrible things that had occured in my life instead of having hope that in someone like Jesus. Even though I have amazing parents, I never truly knew what it meant to receive unconditional love from someone before I met God.
I can't remember one exact moment that I met Christ because I meet with Him everyday. He's the only reason I wake up in the morning and is the only thing keeping me going. It has taken many mistakes and many years of selfish acts to realize just how amazing His grace is and how truly amazing it is to be included in His plan.
Although I will continue to be imperfect and to sin, I do know that I have someone who not only cares about me and loves me unconditionally, but who has a plan for every part of my life: every scar, every bruise, every slip-up, and every victory.
