The Most Important Thing to Kevin McCullough

I grew up in a Christian home and attended church almost every Wednesday and Sunday. I had learned about God and thought I knew all about Him. I was a good person and worked in law enforcement, spending much of my life helping people in some way. I had even been baptized when I was a child. But, I didn’t have a relationship with God. A friend of mine, our Music Minister, loved me enough to share the Good News with me.

He told me that all my good works and all my good intentions could not equal what God had in store for me. I also learned that day that I had just been pretending or playing at being a Christian. Once I realized where I was heading and what I was missing out on, without a relationship with God, I knelt in my friend’s office and asked Jesus to become my Lord and Savior. At that time, my relationship with God began.

Since that day, God has continued to take care of me and bless me. He healed me of a condition that prevented me from having children. I now have a wonderful family which includes 4 children. He has allowed me to work in areas where I can continue to help people and tell them my story. I thank God for His blessings and allowing me to have a relationship with Him through His Son Jesus Christ.
