Before I met Christ, I didn't have any direction in my life. I let other people tell me what was right and wrong and what I should do. I never came to a place where I could decide those things for myself. I grew up in church, so God was not new to me. I had heard Jesus' name several times, but never made that commitment.

One day I was sitting in church and I saw someone get baptized and I asked my mom what it was all about. That day I realized that I needed to commit to God. I always knew Jesus was real and important. But once I made the decision, asked Jesus in my heart and asked Him to change me for His good, that is when I became a Christian.

Once I started my new life with Jesus, I felt a sense of purpose in my life, I have had my ups and downs, but God always forgives me and brings me back up. The best thing about being a christian is knowing that no matter what I have done or will do that God will always love me, even when no one else does. He has a great plan for my life. Even when my plans fail, I know his plans are better. I have the honor to be a part of his master plan for the world.
