The Most Important Thing to Lori Ramsey

I've been going to church my whole life and I always thought that as long as I was good and believed in God I would go to heaven. I believed in God and Jesus Christ, but I really wasn't all that interested in going to church.
As I got older I started to fellowship with Christians and I realized how important it is to surround yourself with people that love the Lord. When I was thirteen I gave my heart to Jesus. When I reached high school I also started attending bible study groups with other students who are Christians, it helped me to stay focused on Jesus through my high school years.
I've been dealing with a lot of medical issues. In 2003 I had a stroke that was caused by a hole in my heart and I lost my side vision. I had to have heart surgery I recovered without going through rehabilitation. My side vision never came back. Later the same year I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. I don't know what I'd do if Jesus hadn't given the strength to pull through.
