The Most Important Thing to Luke Bray

167 hits

I grew up in the home of a pastor. I was taught my entire life about the need for Christ and His story in the Bible. Even though I was constantly surrounded by Godly people and church events I was hesitant to give my life completely to Christ.

When I was fifteen years old I spent a week at a Super Summer camp in Bolivar, MO. The last night of that camp I gave my life to Christ. I don't remember much about that night except the overwhelming joy of newness and the freedom from my guilt.

After I graduated from high school I attended Hannibal-LaGrange College. God called me into full-time ministry at 17. I graduated Hannibal-LaGrange in May 2002 with a degree in Biblical Studies. I joined the Army National Guard in Fall 2002. God has taken me on a journey that I will never forget. I was deployed to Iraq for 14 months. There God solidified my faith and gave me practical ministerial experience. Jesus Christ has complete control of my life. My great passion is serving Him in the local Church and passing on the greatest message of love ever told.
